Despite the impressiveA Minecraft Moviecast, the teaser trailer didn’t go over well, and the video’s YouTube comments are overwhelmingly negative. “Funny prank warner bros, you may release the real teaser now,” a comment with 93,000 likes from @Ink_44 reads. The latest trailer seemingly addresses the backlash to the teaser, opening with a clapperboard and a voice saying, “Minecraft trailer, take two.“The tone of the trailer is certainly a change in direction, aiming to highlight the emotional stakes of the film in its footage of a young Steve.
