Below Deck Mediterraneanseason 9 introduced Stew Bri Muller to the Mustique, buther performance this season has proven without fail that she’s the villain of the superyacht crew. Bri, who has just a few short years of yachting experience under her belt, has struggled to connect with the rest of the crew aboard Mustique in a way that paints her in a good light. Working beneath Captain Sandy Yawn and Chief Stew Aesha Scott, Bri’s issues have mainly been with her fellow Stew Ellie Dubaich this season.

While Bri shared early on that she’s never completed a charter season as a Stew to much surprise, her behavior onBelow Deck Mediterraneanseason 9has proven why she doesn’t have a full season on her record. Bri’s inability to complete basic tasks has been difficult to watch, especially knowing the skill set needed to be a competent Stew. Withher behavior having gotten under Captain Sandy and Aesha’s skin throughout the season, viewers have also found themselves struggling to enjoy her time on screen.

Originally from Port Elizabeth, South Africa,Bri has explained that her life beforejoining the yachting industry was a bit more luxe than some of the other Mustique crew members. Having attended a private boarding school, Bri is used to creating a life independent of her family and friends but didn’t appear to learn the skills she may require aboard a superyacht. Having a hard time keeping tidy, handling laundry, and working within the confines of the interior team, Bri has struggled endlessly throughout the seasonto the point that many viewers would like to see her fired from Mustique.

Bri’s inability to work aboard Mustiquehas been overshadowed by her lack of emotional control while on the vessel. Though Bri has been doing her best, the drama of the superyacht has gotten to her more than once this season. Bri’s drama with the rest of the crew stemmed from her crush on Deckhand Joe Bradley, but has grown into a plethora of issues with her fellow Stew, Ellie. The two Stews have struggled to maintain a relationship that serves them aboard Mustique, instead focusing on their rivalry and competition over the Deckhand who isn’t interested in either of them.

While Ellie and Bri’s drama has painted both of them in a bad light, it’s clear that Bri’s emotions have been more overwhelming than Ellie’s. This has created some major issues for the Stews, as well as the rest of theBelow Deck Mediterraneanseason 9 crew. Even though there are other troubling cast members aboard Mustique,Bri has proven she’s the villain of the seasonwith her consistently poor performance and attitude about her questionable actions.

Bri Is Constantly Acting Like The Victim

She Doesn’t Take Any Accountability

ThroughoutBelow Deck Mediterraneanseason 9, Bri has acted like the victim no matter the issue, even if she’s at fault for whatever she’s feeling. While Bri has been part of some of the drama aboard Mustique, there have been instances of drama she hasn’t even been involved in that she’s attempted to make herself the victim of. Bri’s mentality has made viewers uninterested in rooting for her andhas created a vortex of unnecessary drama around her.

Rather than taking any accountability for her behavior or role in the drama,Bri has acted like the victim in nearly every situation. When she chose to hook up with Joe knowing that Ellie was interested in him, she shared she knew she’d made a mistake, but acted like she’d been slighted. Instead of admitting her wrong-doings oreven apologizing for overstepping a boundary,Bri acted like she was owed an apology.

Bri Flirts With Joe Despite Ellie Also Liking Him

She Doesn’t Have Any Decorum

In the early days ofBelow DeckMediterraneanseason 9’s charter, Ellie and Bri were discussing if there was anyone aboard Mustique they’d be interested in romantically. While both Stews seemed like they weren’t interested in a boatmance,it was clear that Ellie’s feelings for Joe were strong, while Bri said she wasn’t interested in anyoneaboard Mustique. Bri, who had feelings for Joe, had lied directly to Ellie’s face and then went on to make a move on Joe.

While thelove triangle ofBelow Deck Medseason 9has been more trouble than it’s worth, Ellie and Bri’s feelings for Joe weren’t necessarily the issue. Even though Bri knew about Ellie’s interest in Joe, she got flirty with the Deckhand and ultimately hooked up with him more than once, then ignored the consequences. Bri chose to go behind Ellie’s back rather than justsharing she was interested in Joe and believed he was into her.

Bri Always Complains About Ellie To Other Crew Members

She Doesn’t Keep Things Professional

Although Bri has some valid complaints about her fellow Stew, her consistent complaints about Ellie to the rest of the Mustique crew has been overwhelming.Bri’s need to complain about everything Ellie says, does, or insinuateshas gotten old forBelow Deck Mediterraneanviewers. The majority of the issues Bri has with Ellie could be sorted out with an honest conversation, but instead of talking to her fellow Stew, Bri complains to others.

Bri’s most continently complained to Chef Johnathan Shillingford, who already hassomewhat of a vendetta against Elliefrom earlier in the charter season. While Ellie and Jono seem to have a decent working relationship, it doesn’t seem like too big a stretch to assumeBri’s trashing Ellie has colored his view of her as a person. Rather than bringing up her issues in a productive manner, Bri has likely created more tension for Ellie and the rest of Mustique’s crew.

Bri Still Makes Mistakes In Laundry Despite Blaming Ellie The Laundry Fiasco

She’s Not Organized Enough For Laundry

One of Bri’s biggest issues throughout the charter season had been her inability to keep the laundry at bay and return it property to the correct owner.Bri’s laundry issues have been going on since early in the charter season, but in more recentepisodes ofBelow Deck Mediterraneanseason 9, things have gotten worse. With Bri struggling to keep the laundry of the crew and guests separated, she’s been reprimanded more than once by different authorities.

While Bri did try to keep things straight with the laundry by using a documentation system in a notebook, it quickly became an issue that Aesha noticed. Unhappy with the way the notes were being taken as they could’ve been misunderstood as trash talk, she tried to walk Bri though her laundry issues. Even with help from Aesha and Ellie,Bri hasn’t been able to master the organization of the laundryaboard Mustique, which could ultimately be her downfall.

She Throws Her Fellow Stew Under The Bus

In one of their most heated moments of the season, Bri was cleaning cabins without help from Ellie and frenzied, ran into Captain Sandy in tears. The Captain, who was partially aware of the drama between Ellie and Bri, made it clear to Bri that she couldn’t continue to work in such an over-emotional state and tried to calm her down, but knew she had to talk to Aesha. AfterCaptain Sandy explained what she’d seen to Aesha, the Chief Stew talked to Bri, who tried to blame everything on Ellie.

When Aesha’s mediation didn’t help,Captain Sandy took matters into her own hands, bringing both Ellie and Bri to the bridge to talk to them about what the future of the charter season looked like. Making it clear that she wasn’t going to let them sabotage each other day after day, she asked for both of their sides. While Ellie tried to maintain professionalism,Bri went in on Ellie and tried to make her look like the bad guy, blaming her for every interior issue happening aboard Mustique.

Bri Acts Like She Does All The Work

She Doesn’t Realize How Much Others Do

While Bri definitely has to do a lot of the grunt work for the interior team, she’s also working in the Third Stew position and knows her responsibilities aboard Mustique may not be the most glamorous. Instead of taking advantage of the opportunity and cutting her teeth as a Stew,Bri has complained endlessly about how many responsibilities fall to her on the superyacht. In over her head with laundry, Bri’s tasks compared to Ellie’s and Aesha’s are far more inconsequential.

Knowing that Ellie has a lot more guest-facing time and consistently works with Aesha on tablescapes and dining setups,Bri seems to be jealousof the fact that she’s been tasked with less exciting jobs. Working to do the laundry, clean cabins, and do more of the grunt work, Bri’s not satisfied with her role and consistently complains that she does more than any of the other Stews. Her attitude has proven she doesn’t know how to be a team playerand doesn’t realize just how much everyone aboard Mustique is doing.

Bri Didn’t Take Accountability For Her Mistakes

She Hasn’t Tried To Be Better

Although Bri has owned up to the fact that she’s not doing her best work aboard Mustique, she hasn’t figured out how to take accountability for the actual mistakes she’s made on the superyacht. Rather than speaking up about what she’s done wrong and how she can improve,Bri consistently throws others to the wolves and tries to blame them for the problems she’s come across. Bri’s inability to take accountability has been tough to watch forBelow Deck Medviewers.

After understanding that she may have had some issues on her own with the laundry,Bri still struggled to take the blamefor the task being done incorrectly. Even knowing that she’d returned laundry incorrectly throughout the charter season, Bri didn’t seem to acknowledge the fact that she’d made a mistake. Being indignant rather than simply owning up to her mistakes,Bri’s lack of accountability has made it hard to root for anything but her demise.

Bri Talked Back To Ellie Who Is Her Superior

She Doesn’t Care About Being Insubordinate

WhileBriand Ellie have had their share of drama aboard Mustique, the fact thatBri hasn’t been able to speak professionallywith Ellie throughout the charter season has been hard to swallow. As Second Stew,Ellie outranks Bri and should be someone that the Third Stew is looking to for direction and advice. Instead, Bri has trashed Ellie for trying to give her direction, suggestion, and commentary. She’s consistently hard on Ellie for trying to do her job and help Bri, making it seem like Ellie’s playing a villainous game.

Even though Bri and Ellie have been working toward a resolution in their relationship, things haven’t been easy with the way that Bri has treated Ellie during the charter season. Rather than allowing Ellie to do her job, Bri has made things more difficult at every turn. TheBelow Deck MediterraneanStew has painted Ellie as the villain, ignoring the fact that she’s been doing villainous things to her superior throughout the charter season.
