Perks have always been an extremely important feature inFallout 4and are equally prevalent in theFallout: Londonmod. As with the original Bethesda game, Perks are bonuses that belong to each category of your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Each time you level upFallout: London, you can choose to allocate one of your Perkpoints in whichever category you desire under the Perks chart. While players will be familiar with all the Perks that carry over from the base game, choosing the best Perks as a Wayfarer is a different story, as there are so many new challenges to face in London’s wasteland.

All Perk Types
With the set of seven available S.P.E.C.I.A.L.Stats inFallout: Londoncomes training Perks for each one, categorized as ‘stat name’ Training. Each of these Perksgrants +1 to the respective stat you choose to improve, which are great foundational Perks for your early gameplay.
While it seems fairly basic and is less specialized in terms of skills compared to other stats, it’s agreat way to level up your inherent abilities. It isespecially appealing to those who may be undecided about their build. Moreover, investing Perkpoints in one of the training stats will allow you to obtain another Perk that you have yet to meet the minimum stat requirements for.

For example, somePerks inFallout: Londonhave quite high stat requirements, such as Action Girl/Boy, which is later mentioned in the list. This Perk requires Agility at Level 5, which many players may not have speced up as much during character creation. By using the Agility Training Perk, you may at least give yourself a boost, allowing you to acquire this Perk sooner.

It also only requires Level 2 Intelligence to unlock, a low stat requirement for unlocking a Perk with so much utility. No matter how skilled you are as a fighter, you will always need healing and Radiation negation at some point.
Aside from the apparent combat and aid benefits this Perk has, it also makes it better value for money, asyou will get far more use out of singular consumables.Bottle Caps inFallout: London, or in this case, Tickets, are not as common and should be saved as much as possible when purchasing goods from traders.

8Locksmith
Perception Perk
As in many Bethesda RPGs, gaining access to valuable items, gear, or weapons usually requires players to unlock various safes, boxes, or doors, which,if you’re under-leveled, can cause you to miss out on various goodsand even secret areas, permanently locking you out of content.
By usingLockpick inFallout: London, you can pick higher-ranking locks. Usually, the more challenging a lock is to pick, the more value it containswithin, so it’s well worth utilizing to scavenge for useful loot.

Players can pick advanced locks
7
Players can pick expert locks
Players can pick master locks
41
The player’s bobby pins never break
Another Perk to consider is the Hacking Perk, which serves a similar purpose to Lockpicking in that it allows you to hack more advancedTerminals inFallout: London, which also allows you to enter through security doors that are otherwise inaccessible. They can also be used to control surveillance robots, which can be used to help you defeat surrounding enemies.

Strength Perk
Among the more craft-focused Perks is the Armourer, allowing players to modify varied types ofarmor inFallout: London. Upon using this Perk, at the small investment of Level 3 in Strength, you cancustomize your gear to better protect youagainst the new enemies found roaming London’s wasteland.
This includes physical damage, as well as radiation damage or damage sourced from energy weapons. Moreover, if you find a piece of armor that you like and would like to stick with, you canincrease some of its base stats, allowing you to use other Perks. Similarly to Gun Nut, another Perk mentioned later, it also increases the level of mods available to players.
Starting at Level 1 armor modification, as you increase the ranks of this Perk, you can then modify armor at Level 2, and so on.
6Blacksmith
Anothercrafting-based recommended Perkis Blacksmith, which, similarly to Armourer, allows you to mod Level 1 meleeweapons inFallout: London. This also goes up as you increase your rankings, as displayed in the table below:
N/A
Players gain access to base level and rank 1 melee weapon mods.
16
29
Players gain access to rank 3 melee weapon mods.
Using this Perk will allow you to significantly enhance junk weapons that you find in the wasteland, upgrading them with mods thatgive them unique skills and abilities. 5Gun Nut
The last crafting-specialized Perk that players should consider is Gun Nut, specifically useful for those who like to deal damage with firearmweapons inFallout: London. Using mods to improve them is integral to performing your best in combat and using these weapons at their best potential. For example, if you find a basic Sniper rifle and are going for a Stealth-build inFallout: London, you may want to mod it with a Suppressor, to decrease the noise emitted when firing with it.
From barrels and scopes to ammunition types, the Gun Nut Perk offers a wide variety ofmods inFallout: London, turning an average weapon into something powerfulthat you’re able to rely on.
4Action Girl/Boy
Agility Perk
Just like inFallout 4, Action Points are essential inFallout: Londonto perform specific actions and arespent when firing or reloading a weapon, attacking inV.A.T.S. inFallout: London, and holding your breath for accuracy with a scope.
Using this Perk willallow your Action Points to replenish at a faster rate, which is key to dealing damage more effectively in combat. The table below showcases the increase per rank:
Action Points regenerate 25% faster
Action Points regenerate 50% faster
38
Action Points regenerate 75% faster
With the ability to use your V.A.T.S. more efficiently, you’ll be able toslow down time on difficult foes and gain better accuracywhen hitting limbs or getting headshots. This Perk is mainly weapon-focused and would best benefit aSniper build inFallout: London;AP cost is present almost everywhere, even during jumping and sprinting.
3Rifleman
As one of the best options for weapons, Rifleman is amust-have Perk inFallout: London, as itapplies to most firearms you find. Usually, taking particularly tough enemies requires a large amount of ammo expended, but the higher ranks’abilities to bypass their armorwill make taking these foes down easier. Whether you’re using a short-to-mid-range rifle or a longer-ranged sniper option, this will help you dispatch many enemies before they can get to you.
2Slayer
One of the most uniquePerks inFallout: London, Slayer is more applicable to specific fighting styles and builds that rely on speed and possibly stealth. With its ability toincrease the speed of melee and unarmed attacks, players who utilize this Perk will be able to swiftly take down enemies before they get a chance to retaliate.
While it is a Strength-based Perk, it can heavilybenefit stealthy melee players, who can use it to quietly sneak around when infiltrating danger zones or traversing enemy territory, quickly slashing enemies discreetly as they wander around.
As melee weapons are more common, specifically inFallout: London, this is an excellent Perk to utilize.
Alternatively, it is also excellent for Strength-based players who like to deal devastating punches with their bear hands, or even use Knuckle Dusters forhigher damage output. When being overwhelmed and swarmed by enemies, you can rapidly hit opponents with quick punches without worry.
1Big Leagues
Finally, the last Strength-based meleePerk inFallout: Londonis Big Leagues, giving you the ability to havehigher damage output when wielding melee weapons. With the number of melee weapons inFallout: London, from large bludgeoning and hard-hitting blunt options to small and agile blades, this perk is essential. The table below showcases the Perk’s effects as the ranks go up:
Players now do 40% more damage with melee weapons and have the chance to disarm an opponent.
15
Melee weapons now do 60% more damage and gain an increased chance of disarming an opponent.
27
Melee weapons do 80% more damage, and the weapon hits all opponents ahead of the player.
42
Players do double the amount of damage of the melee weapon and have the chance of either crippling an opponent or crushing an opponent’s head.
With the chance to disarm opponents and cripple enemies, you will be virtually untouchable. This is a great option for those who enjoy heavy builds, as you will enhance your weapon’s already tanky properties.
Moreover, when starting your adventure inFallout 4’s mod, your first set of melee weapons won’t be that strong, so utilizing this Perk will have them deal better base damage, improving its performance significantly.
